About 3/4 of an acre of our property is heavily treed with Douglas fir and mature maple trees. There are some tree stumps of the first generation of timber around on which other plants are growing.

We cleared about 200 meters of trails that are covered with cedar chips and placed some benches beside those trails. During the hot days it is about 10 degrees cooler in the shaded area.
